The Book 2000 was made specially for the VI edition
of the Book Art show. It is the common work of
24 artists - a unique book containing meditations
on the past century, its highlights and tragedies,
its spiritual dilemmas, collapses and achievements.
The Book is the message of outstanding Polish
artists, the testimony of their experiences and
talents - the message to the third millenium which
makes many people both deeply curious and anxious.
The book-case made by Andrzej Bednarczyka.
Size: 50x70cm.
Leather, wood, paper, plexiglass.
24 original sheets (A3) made with various techniques,
both computer and traditional (prints, drawings,
paintings). On many pages text written by
the artists themselves.

The exhibition

The exhibition is a kind of extension of The Book
2000. The authors tell about the emotions and
experiences caused by spiritual and real journeys.
