Born in 1930. Studied at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Faculty of History of Art (graduated in 1954); Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Painting (graduated in 1955).
Painter, sculptor, stage and tapestry designer, illustrator. Made illustrations and layouts for over 100 books for children and adults published in Poland and for as many published abroad. Won many prestigious awards in different countries. Took part in a lot of exhibitions all over the world; since 1994 in the Contemporary Polish Book Art shows.
